Welcome Letter

Transformational Mothering was written during my first years as a mother.  It was easy to talk about the joys of motherhood with my friends and family, however there were few people I could talk to about the difficult times.  I was nervous about bringing it up.  I wondered, “Do other mothers feel this way?  Am I the only one struggling?”

If you are having similar feelings, this book is intended to reassure you that you are not alone. You'll laugh and cry and realize you have much in common with the community of mothers around you. 

Becoming a mother was for me, the most difficult and rewarding spiritual journey of my life.  This is the book I wish I'd had during those early years.  Within its pages, you will find the acceptance, reassurance and support all mothers need whether you are single or married, bottle or breast, or birth or adoptive.  

This book will be a resource to turn to when you are having a difficult day as well as when you have something to celebrate.
